  • 300 gm bhindi (Okra)
  • 1 cup water, small
  • 7-8 tbsp mustard oil
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp fennel seeds
  • 1 cup onion, finely chopped

  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp fennel powder
  • 1 tsp aamchior powder
  • 1/4 tsp pepper powder

Steps to Make Bhindi Masala at Home

Heat oil add cumin and fennel seeds, let them splutter.
Onions should be added and lightly browned.
Stir in a little water and some ginger.
When adding the turmeric powder, stir once more.
Add the bhindi (Okra) mixture, add the remaining water, and whisk continuously.
Sprinkle salt, sugar, fennel powder, and amchur powder.
Stir thoroughly, add the lime juice, and combine once more before serving.
